Project Management
Our senior engineering staff are experienced project managers of projects involving electrical installations, process instrumentation, PLC and SCADA and electrical motors and drives. They are part of a team on which they can call for advice and support on all levels of a project.
Coordinating with the customer, suppliers and service providers to a project and then anticipating and dealing with potential problems requires a broad knowledge of planning and realistic task durations, various engineering disciplines and financial transactions. Such a broad knowledge can only be gained from years of exposure to different projects and experiences gained in different roles within these projects.
A project manager can make or break a project. The difference between a highly successful project with relationships built between customer and suppliers and a dismal failure resulting in delivery short of expectation and loss of faith between customer and suppliers can sometimes be traced to the choice of project manager.
All projects undertaken by Abacus Automation are coordinated by an appointed project manager.
